Dissimilar formation at Dover AFB, Del.

A tractor cuts large swaths of grass parallel to Dover Air Force Base's runway on Sept. 5, 2013. Shown in the background is a U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon advanced anti-submarine aircraft that's seemingly rolling in formation with the tractor. The P-8A, from Patrol Squadron Sixteen at NAS Jacksonville, Fla., was accomplishing a pilot proficiency flight and is well seperated from the mower for safety. Mowing the vast expanse of open spaces at Dover is a task that takes a fleet of mowers days to complete and is coordinated to minimize any adverse impact to flight operations.
