UPGRADED: MWDs Get New Training Aids
The new Military Working Dog (MWD) training aid prototype is displayed at the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System, Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, June 17, 2024. The prototype will allow Kennel Masters and MWD Handlers to place the training aids in more hidden areas better increasing drug detection capabilities while protecting the training aid at the same time. Dover AFB Airman improves drill bit case, increases efficiency
Tech. Sgt. Christopher Saunders, 736th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron home station check dock chief, holds a 3D-printed drill bit case at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Sept. 29, 2023. Saunders, a former Bedrock Innovation Lab intern, updated the drill bit case to include extra storage compartments for bits, embedded magnets and stronger materials.
