A Face of Team Dover: Vol. 1, No. 2 Published Aug. 25, 2014 By Roland Balik 436th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- Highlighting the numerous Airmen that serve at Dover Air Force Base, "A Face of Team Dover" will introduce you to the individuals that make Team Dover "Deliver." Rank and Name: Airman 1st Class Christopher Baughan Unit: 436th Logistics Readiness Squadron Duty Title: Mobile Fuels Distribution Operator Time in the Air Force: One year, five months Time at Dover AFB: One year Hometown: Mendota, Ill. "My favorite experience since I've been in the Air Force was arriving at Dover, being welcomed to the flight with open arms and knowing that my career was about to start. I like the fact that I am responsible for the fuel getting onto the aircraft. It's a real humbling experience knowing that I am a piece of the puzzle that allows the aircraft to fly and get the mission done. I feel like I fit into the Air Force as part of a family. I'm always learning, engaging and following and being molded into the leader I will become later on in my career. The Air Force to me brings a bright future into my life, so much brighter than I would have had as a civilian before I joined. Stepping off that bus at basic training was one of the best decisions that happened in my life. The Air Force has shown me that I do fit in and that I am part of the Team Dover and LRS family"
