Senior Airman Jesse Bechtel is a high-speed, low-drag Airman with a desire for increased responsibility, and a dedication to improve his unit, installation, and the Air Force. Airman Bechtel is the noncommissioned officer in charge of resource protection. He is in charge of the safety and security of protection level four areas worth more than $5.9 billion. Airman Bechtel ensures all areas are in compliance with DoD and AF regulations. He is the "go to" guy for any task that needs to be done and done right. A few weeks after being named the NCOIC of resource protection, he took on the task of being the unit rep for the Air Force Assistance Fund. 436th Security Forces Squadron surpassed their target goal by more than $1,000 two weeks into the AFAF campaign. Airman Bechtel lives by the AF core values of "integrity, service before self and excellence in all we do."
