Do you ever feel like you drive around the base so much you could do it with your eyes closed?

Please don't. There is a new traffic pattern change that some are unaware of.

A four-way stop sign has been installed on the intersection of Eagle Way and Tuskegee Blvd.

Since the 436th Medical Group moved into the temporary buildings across the street, the four-way stop was installed due to the increase in pedestrian traffic.

Numerous traffic "near misses" have been witnessed and reported since the signs have been installed.

A "near miss" is an incident that could have turned out very badly. These are reported through the Voluntary Protection Program here at Dover, and initiate action toward lowering the accident potential.

Please keep Dover members safe, and be aware of this new traffic pattern.
