The Maryland Army National Guard
conducted its 2014 Best Warrior Competition at Camp Fretterd and Gunpowder Military
Reservations – near Reisterstown and in Glen Arm, Md. – to determine this year’s best noncommissioned officer and Soldier, March 13-16. Sgt. Michael Louis Firth from C Company, 1st Squadron, 158th Cavalry Regiment, was named NCO of the Year, and Spc. Michael Robinson, from the same unit, was named Soldier of the Year.
