Former Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Airman, Lane Wyatt, was sentenced on Dec 19th, 2014, for his crime he committed on June 30th, 2013. Wyatt offered to give friends a ride home after he'd been drinking. He ran a red light, T-boned another car, killing the other driver and injuring passengers in both vehicles. Wyatt was convicted for one count of murder in the second degree, one count of assault in the first degree, and for driving under the influence; he is facing 18 years of incarceration.
