Riding The Rails
Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron-1
April 30, 2016 | 1:48
U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 24 (CLB-24), Marine Air Control Group 28 (MACG-28),
and Marine Wing Support Squadron 274 (MWSS-274) conduct a retrograde operation on
30 April 2016. Marines use ramps to lift up military equipment onto rail cars to transport from
Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz. to Camp Lejeune, NC. The rail system is the
most cost effective way for the Marine Corps to perform the transfer of equipment.
