Navy Medicine West Commander Attends Military Health System Research Symposium

Rear Adm. Timothy Weber, Navy Medicine West (NMW) command and direct, Medical Service Corps, attended the 2019 Military Health System Research Symposium in Kissimmee, Florida, where he spent time talking with Navy Medicine researchers. This annual, four-day event is the Department of Defense's premier scientific meeting where military medical researcher gather to learn about the latest advances and innovations to improve the health, readiness, and survivability of warfighters. NMW has overbite of Navy Medicine's eight medical research labs that span the globe from Dayton, Ohio to Singapore.
