U.S. Marines with Charlie Company, 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance (LAR) Battalion participate in Exercise Phantom Major with members of the New Zealand Army’s Queen Alexandra’s Mounted Rifles (QAMR) unit. Exercise Phantom Major is an annual QAMR training exercise to evaluate the actions of the QAMR commanders in a theoretical combat situation against a peer opposition force.
