BROLL from the Sunset March in Nijmegen, Netherlands on Sept. 1, 2018. Retired Capt. Roy Merrill Hanna Jr., an 82nd Airborne Division veteran, crossed the Waal River during Operation Market Garden and returned after 74 years to cross the Oversteek bridge in honor of the allied soldiers who fought to liberate The Netherlands in 1944. The Sunset March is a daily commemoration marked by 48 pairs of lights that illuminate at a slow marching pace in remembrance of soldiers who lost their lives during the crossing.
