Memorial services for Hawaii Army National Guard soldier Sgt. Drew M. Scobie held at Hawaii Memorial Park Chapel located at 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe on Saturday, February 15, 2014.

Scobie was one of three Americans killed in an aircraft accident in eastern Afghanistan on Jan. 10, 2014. He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion/487th Field Artillery in Wahiawa. Sgt. Scobie was a Fire Direction Operator for the artillery battalion. He had volunteered to deploy to Afghanistan with Det. 55, which is currently providing reconnaissance and surveillance for International Security Assistance Forces in Afghanistan. Det. 55 was mobilized on Oct. 8, 2013 and deployed to Afghanistan later that month. Available in High Definition.
