Maryland Air and Army Nation Guard medical personnel are administered the COVID-19 vaccine on Jan. 5, 2021, at the Maryland Medical Detachment building located on Camp Fretterd Military Reservation near Reisterstown, Maryland. More than 140 Maryland National Guard members are gearing-up to directly support the COVID-19 vaccination initiative. Our Mobile Vaccination Support Teams are providing direct support to county health departments, assisting with the acceleration of vaccination efforts.
