A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka MH-60 Jayhawk crew medevacs two wilderness guides after they were mauled by a bear while hiking with their group in the woods of Angoon approximately 30 miles northeast of Sitka, Alaska, Aug. 18, 2016.
The aircrew hoisted the man and woman and transferred them to local emergency medical personnel in Angoon.
