AMARILLO, Texas - U.S. Army medical personnel assigned to Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Maryland, shadow their hospital counterparts at Northwest Texas Healthcare System to assist local staff with COVID operations in Amarillo, Texas, Jan. 28, 2022. The Soldiers are deployed in support of continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need.
