Soldiers from 74th CTC, 129 CSSB, 101st Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade prepare their vehicles at Lackland AFB for movement further south at in support of Operation Faithful Patriot. As directed by the Department of Defense through Army headquarters, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell are deploying Soldiers, equipment and resources to assist Department of Homeland Security along the southwest border. Military personnel will provide a range of support including planning assistance, engineering support, and logistics and transportation support.
