The 1-126th Aviation Battalion conducts a personnel recovery exercise, Aug. 12, 2020, at Camp Fogarty, East Greenwich, R.I. The exercise, conducted towards the end of a two week annual training, built competencies over the course of three days, in evasion through unfamiliar terrain from a downed aircraft and a disabled convoy to a pickup point, where a UH-60 helicopter landed in a confined area to recover Soldiers.
