Remembering the Freckleton Air Disaster

The Freckleton air disaster occurred on 23 August 1944, when an U.S Army Air Force World War II B-24 Liberator Bomber crashed into the center of the village of Freckleton Village in Lancashire, England. There were 61 casualties, over 30 of them children.
