Restoring Desire to Live
Irwin Army Community Hospital
Oct. 21, 2022 | 4:46
Just like the civilian population, Soldiers struggle with different types of mental health challenges. Unlike civilians, Soldiers' anxieties, traumas, or bouts of depression are related to the demands of military life and the burdens placed on families. Dr. Joseph Carmona, an IACH behavioral health provider, describes what it means for him to help a Soldier through those difficulties.
