Retirement Shoutout to Ms. Brenda Twyford from the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade
82nd Combat Aviation Brigade
Aug. 20, 2012 | 2:39
Col. T.J. Jamison sends retirement wishes and a personal story about how Ms. Brenda Twyford twice helped a young aviation lieutenant achieve his career goals. Also available in high definition. Ms. Twyford retires August 20th with 30 years of active federal service. She has placed every Army aviator on initial assignment since 1986. Ms. Twyford's illustrious commitment ot the branch began in 1983 as a young Human Resources specialist with the Enlisted Personnel Management Directorate. She was reassigned to the Officer Personnel Management Directorate Aviation branch three years later, where she continues to serve with disntinction. Although planning on retiring before the Human Resources Command moved ot Fort Knox in 2010, she selflessly agreed to move to Ft. Knox, bringing much-needed continuity.
