Team Ramstein welcomed Whiskey-7, a historical C-47 aircraft that dropped paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne into Normandy during the DDay invasion. The plane was assigned to the 37th troop carrier squadron, the precursor to Ramstein's 37th airlift squadron. Whiskey-7 will fly once more over Normandy beach as part of the 70th anniversary DDay re-enactment.
