The “Elephant cage” on Misawa Air Base was thought to contain elephants in 1965, But that was just a rumor, so SSgt Jonathan Guzman gets an exclusive look inside Misawa’s F-L-R-9 to see what it really is. The F-L-R-9 was constructed as part of a large set of worldwide antennas during the cold war in 1963. Includes sound bites from Col. Joseph Winters, Commander of Misawa Security Operations Center. Also available in high definition.
