The mission of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program is to give victims of sexual assault an avenue to seek help and maintain confidentiality in reporting the incident/s in a safe and less intrusive process. A Restricted Report may only be reported to the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), Victim Advocate or healthcare provider by a military member, their dependents over 18, and AF Civilian employees. Restricted Reporting allows a sexual assault victim to receive medical treatment and counseling without triggering an investigation. Trained Victim Advocates are available for crisis intervention, referrals and on-going support as well as accompaniments to medical appointments and investigative interviews if requested. The program also provides education and awareness of sexual assault issues. The Dover AFB SAPR Helpline is available 24/7 at (302) 363-7272.
