MTE stands up

A Handling Services Inc. employee checks on a Mobile Tail Enclosure as it is stood up April 10. Previously when a C-5 Galaxy was parked in a hanger the tail would be outside the hangar. If winds were greater than 25 knots, maintenance couldn?t be performed on the aircraft. The new MTE will cover the tail of the aircraft and allow service members to work on the aircraft even during inclimate weather. (U.S. Air Force photo/Jason Minto)
