Responders continue operations in mid-November to remove the fishing vessel Pacific Paradise grounded off Kaimana Beach, Oahu. A team comprised of the Coast Guard, State of Hawaii Dept. of Land and Natural Resources, the responsible party and salvors from several companies (Resolve Marine Group, Cates International, Pacific Environmental Corporation, American Marine Corporation, Coast Guard Pacific Strike Team and Coast Guard Salvage Engineering Response Team) are working to prepare, refloat and remove the vessel ideally by the end of the month with as little impact to the environment as possible.
