MWSS-473 Marines Construct FARPs in Support of Maple Flag 50

COLD LAKE, AB, CANADA – Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 473, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, participated in Exercise Maple Flag 50 at Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake during exercise Maple Flag, May 29 – June 23, 2017. The Marines with MWSS-473 provided support for the exercise by constructing forward arming and refueling points, allowing Canadian Bell CH-146 Griffons, and Canadian CH-147F Chinook to refuel closer to their missions.
