301st Public Affairs Detachment

The 949th Transportation Detachment also known as the movement control team set out to perform convoy operations during The Combat Support Training Exercise or CSTX. The unit used Camp Roberts as an exercise battlespace to perform movement drills similar to those of a combat mission. The purpose of the training is to control movement within the area of operation, treat casualties and respond to improvised explosive devices or IEDs .
