Earl Plumlee shares his story about the events that took place August 28, 2013 on FOB Ghazni in Afghanistan during a Special Forces Association Convention (SFACON), where 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets, Soldiers and retirees attended a four-day event held from September 21-24, 2022, in the Colorado Springs area including Fort Carson. SFACON is held to honor, remember and recognize Green Berets and enablers with multiple special events, panels of speakers and Special Forces Medal
