U.S. Marines with 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, and Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 165 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, transport mail and shipping supplies with a CH-53E Super Stallion from Subic Bay International Airport to Northern Luzon, Philippines, June 16, 2024. VMM-165 provided air transportation to streamline the mail delivery process for Marines and Sailors with 3rd MLR currently deployed in the Philippines. The mail operation was part of Marine Aviation Support Activity 24, an annual Philippine-U.S. military exercise focused on mutual defense, strengthening relationships, and rehearsing aviation concepts.
