200406-N-AL707-2001 BREMERTON, Wash. (April 6, 2020) Dry Dock 6 at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility is flooded, ending a year-long dry docking for Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Vinson completed the dry docked portion of a scheduled docking planned incremental availability (DPIA) and will complete the rest of the availability floating pierside in Bremerton, Wash.
