Video footage of the California Army National Guard's 132nd Multirole Bridge Company’s initial efforts to construct a 100-foot improved ribbon bridge (IRB) beside the condemned Cache Creek Canyon Low Water Bridge in Rumsey, Yolo County, California, Aug. 23, 2020. Includes interview with Rebecca Ramirez, fire chief, Yocha Dehe Fire Department. The IRB connects two areas over Cache Creek River, quickly enabling first responders to react to the LNU Lightning Complex fire that affects five Northern California counties. In less than 24 hours, the 132nd placed four heavy-duty aluminum platforms into the river, allowing traffic across. The 132nd is an entity of the 579th Engineer Battalion, 49th Military Police Brigade. (U.S. Army National Guard video by Staff Sgt. Eddie Siguenza)
