US Congressman Jim Renacci (Ohio) presented a Silver Star and Purple Heart to SSG Dominic Eritano for his valor in Korea. He is MIA and his family accepted the awards for him.
The 200th Military Police Command's 447th Military Police Company was in attendance to honor the hero. The medals that were awarded are: Silver Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, CIB, Philippine Liberation Medal, Honorable Service Lapel Button, and Sharpshooter Badge with Carbine Bar.
