The Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations team participated in the Quilts of Valor annual sew day, held at the Mason Dixon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7234, Ocean View, Delaware, Feb. 4, 2023. The sew day is held annually to create more quilts to be awarded to service members and veterans touched by war. The AFMAO team members are awarded quilts upon completion of their assignment where their duties include honoring fallen service members and caring for their families. (U. S.
