Volunteering For Vets
Joint Base Charleston
Nov. 10, 2016 | 1:17
Joint Base Charleston airmen and sailors teamed up with The Citadel, local Charleston non-profits, and food banks to help veterans in need over the weekend. In honor of Veterans Day, this event not only helped service members get in the holiday spirit, but allowed them to give back to the men and women who have served in the military. More than 10,000 pounds of produce, meat, dry goods, and canned goods were distributed. (U.S. Air Force video/Staff Sergeant Brian Gratz).
