Winter Fury 22: MWSS-373 Refuels and Arms Aircraft for Long Range Strike

U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, refuel F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter jets from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 211, MAG 13, 3rd MAW, and F/A-18 Hornets with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232, and VMFA-323, MAG 11, 3rd MAW, at a Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) during Winter Fury at Grant County Municipal Airport, Moses Lake, Washington, Feb. 2, 2022. A FARP is a key component of expeditionary advanced base operations as it allows the Marine Corps to refuel and, rearm in a distributed environment. Winter Fury 22 provides the Marines of 3rd MAW with realistic, relevant training opportunities necessary to respond to any crisis across the globe and win decisively in a highly contested, maritime conflict.
