Ground radar systems

Staff Sgt. Josh Wilfong, 436th Communications Squadron ground radar systems technician, stands in front of the Airport Surveillance Radar. Though the current ASR is more than 30 years old, it efficiently and accurately tracks nearly 200 targets on a daily basis. However, it is slated to be replaced by an advanced ASR. Construction is tentatively scheduled for March 2010. (Air Force photo/ Jason Minto)
